Estados Intermedios - Estados residuales
A performative installation that materializes the ephemerality of the intermediate states of a scientific research with organic material. Composed of 12 circles of epoxy resin that encapsulate the organic pigment extracted from the residue of exotic invasive plant species. In this way, art and science are linked creating a bridge that shapes the complexity of reality.
This work was awarded first prize in the Novos Valores 2023 competition organized by the Pontevedra Provincial Council and the Provincial Museum.
Complexity is woven into the uncertainty of everyday life. Interdisciplinary processes, expanded field graphics and the multiple possibilities of matter bring us closer to a more holistic understanding of reality. Art and science, together, have the capacity to explain that which is perceptible but not visible.
